In view of the gradual stabilization of COVID-19 pandemic in Hong Kong, the “Say No to Plastic!” Campaign resumed its face-to-face education talks. A face-to-face talk was delivered to nearly 100 F.1 students and teachers at Lok Sin Tong Leung Kau Kui College on 15 March 2021.  Precautionary measures, including temperature check for all participants, wearing mask and keeping sufficient distance between seats, were taken to minimize the risk of spreading COVID-19.

The “Say No to Plastic!” Campaign, sponsored by Great Eagle Group, organized by Go Green Hong Kong and co-organized by Healthy Seed, has completed the installation of 77 bottle-free water dispensers, and has finished 49 cartridge replacement and dispenser cleansing since June 2018. The campaign has provided 186,200 liters of clean drinking water, which is equivalent to avoiding nearly 372,400 disposable plastic bottles.

With an aim to raise public awareness on environmental protection, the campaign also delivers education talks and urban farming workshops at kindergartens, nursery centres, primary schools, secondary schools and community centers. As of March 2021,  the campaign has delivered 67 face-to-face or online education talks, and 6 urban farming workshops, reaching more than 13,900 participants.
