Healthy Seed joins the “Water for Free” campaign, founded by Go Green Hong Kong and sponsored by Great Eagle Group to install water dispensers in Hong Kong, offering free, clean and safe drinking water. In addition, education talks are delivered in kindergartens, nursery centres, primary schools, secondary schools and community centers, etc. to promote the concepts of “bring your own bottle” as an alternative to disposable bottled drinks, and to raise public awareness on environmental protection. To maximize the impact of the campaign, Great Eagle Group also arranges exhibitions on water resources at its properties and invite universities to host the exhibitions on their campus.

Riding on its success, Great Eagle, Go Green Hong Kong and Healthy Seed decided to scale up the collaboration in 2019, in the name of “Say No to Plastic!”. With an aim to extend the reach of the plastic-free message, “Say No to Plastic!” 2019/20 involves the installation of bottle-free water dispensers and delivering education talks. In addition, the campaign is expanding its service to cover secondary school students. Urban farming workshops are newly added to the campaign, to deepen the participants’ understanding of the importance to reduce disposal of plastics. Filter replacement and cleaning of water storage cisterns will be arranged for the beneficiaries of “Water for Free” 2018/19, in order to allow their students and guests to enjoy clean drinking water from the dispensers.
